Incident Overview
A pilot reported that the right tire blew out while landing in a crosswind. The airplane veered to the right and struck a runway marker sign. The right main landing gear subsequently collapsed, and the right wing, right horizontal stabilizer, and propeller sustained substantial damage.
Examination Findings
Post-incident examination of the airplane revealed a hole in the center of the right tire. No anomalies were found with the brake system. The damage to the aircraft was limited to the right side, including the wing, horizontal stabilizer, and propeller.

At the time of the accident, the wind was from the airplane's left at 11 knots, gusting to 20 knots.
