Incident Details
A commercial pilot was conducting touch-and-go landings while seated in the right seat of the airplane. During the landing roll, the airplane began skidding on snow and weathervaning into the wind, according to the pilot's report. The airplane subsequently departed the runway surface and entered snow-covered terrain.
Damage
The accident resulted in substantial damage to the ribs in the airplane's right wing.

The pilot stated that there were no mechanical malfunctions with the airplane during the accident flight.
