During landing rollout, an airplane veered off the right side of runway 33 into mud. The pilot applied full power but the aircraft exited mud, skidded across the ramp, and struck a parked airplane and hangar before hitting an embankment, resulting in landing gear collapse and substantial damage.

Event Description

The pilot reported an uneventful landing on runway 33. During the landing rollout, application of brakes caused the airplane to veer off the right side of the runway, entering mud and dirt. In an attempt to free the aircraft, the pilot added full engine power to climb a small incline.

Sequence of Collisions

The airplane exited the muddy area, skidded across the ramp, and collided with a parked airplane and a hangar. Subsequently, the aircraft struck an embankment. During this sequence, the main landing gear collapsed.

Damage Assessment

The accident resulted in substantial damage to the lower fuselage and the right wing.
