Pilot Report

According to the pilot, shortly after takeoff, engine rpm decreased and power was lost. The pilot described the engine as "missing." As the airplane began to sink, the pilot, concerned about powerlines, pushed the controls forward to lower the nose and reduced power to execute a forced landing.
