What happened
On December 26, 2012, at 10:20 CST, a Cessna 401-A bearing registration XB-JJE was in the process of originating a flight when it experienced a loss of engine power. The aircraft subsequently impacted terrain near Cozumel, Mexico. At the time of the accident, the weather consisted of visual meteorological conditions. There were no injuries reported among the pilot and the four passengers on board.
