On March 12, 2013, at approximately 1834 UTC, a Boeing 737-800, registration OK-TVP, was operating a flight from Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt, to Katowice, Poland. After landing, the aircraft overran the end of runway 27.

Following the overrun, the aircraft came to a stop with the nose gear and the right main landing gear positioned off the concrete runway surface. The left main landing gear remained on the concrete. There was no damage to the aircraft and no injuries were reported.
