On November 15, 2013, an accident occurred involving an Embraer E-190, registration LV-CKZ, in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
What happened
Following the event, the Junta de Investigaciones de Accidentes de Aviacion Civil (JIAAC) of the Republic of Argentina notified the NTSB of the accident. There were no fatalities and no injuries reported in the notification.
The investigation
The NTSB appointed a U.S. Accredited Representative to assist the JIAAC investigation. This assistance was provided under the provisions of ICAO Annex 13, as the United States is the State of Manufacture and Design of the engines involved in the aircraft.
