Accident Overview
The accident occurred during a takeoff from a turf runway. According to the pilot's report, full power was applied and the airplane reached rotation speed. After lifting off, the airplane climbed to an estimated height of three to four feet before settling back onto the runway. It then veered left, departed the runway surface, and impacted a ditch. The airplane came to rest inverted in a field. Post-impact inspection revealed substantial damage to both the fuselage and wings.
