On September 28, 2016, an incident occurred involving a Pulse Vapor 55 unmanned helicopter in Ballina, Australia. The aircraft, registered as LHB270916, was the subject of an investigation by the Australian Transport Safety Bureau (ATSB).
Under the provisions of ICAO Annex 13, the NTSB appointed a U.S. Accredited Representative to support the ATSB's investigation, acting in its capacity as the State of Manufacturer and Design for the unmanned helicopter. There were no injuries reported in relation to this event.
