What happened
On 4 April 2021, at approximately 11:12 UTC, a DJI Inspire 2 unmanned aircraft system (UAS) was being operated in the Covent Garden area of London. At the time of the incident, the drone was maintaining a stable hover. While the operator was focused on the control screen, the aircraft suddenly moved unexpectedly, flying into a nearby building. Following the impact, the drone fell to the ground.
