What happened
Shortly after departing for its home base, a twin-engine aircraft owned by Red Canyon Aesthetics & Medical Spa encountered a technical malfunction. In response to the mechanical issue, the pilot attempted an emergency landing. During this maneuver, the aircraft struck the ground and slid approximately 300 meters across the desert terrain near Arches National Park. The impact resulted in a fire that consumed the wreckage.
There were 10 fatalities in the accident, with no survivors reported. The passengers included medical professionals, specifically cancer specialists, who had traveled to Moab earlier that day to perform various medical services, including cancer screenings and treatments, for the local community.
