What happened
A charter flight departed from Bucaramanga-Palonegro Airport, destined for Málaga-Jerónimo de Aguayo Airport, when the accident occurred. The aircraft was operated as a commercial service carrying one pilot and six passengers. During the flight, the aircraft began a descent and initiated a left-hand turn. During this maneuver, the plane struck a mountainside in the vicinity of Piedecuesta.
Search efforts located the wreckage the day after the impact. The crash resulted in seven fatalities, as all occupants on board were killed. There was no fire reported at the crash site.
