At the time of the landing, the wind conditions had shifted from a westerly direction to a south-westerly direction, with speeds recorded between 10 and 12 knots and intermittent gusts. While the pilot reported that the initial touchdown on the grass surface was normal, the aircraft subsequently veered toward the left side of the runway. The aircraft eventually came to a stop while straddling a dyke that runs parallel to the left edge of the runway.
