What happened

On May 3, 2008, at approximately 18:20 UTC, an Airbus 319, registered HB-JZP, operated by EasyJet, was undergoing engine start procedures at Lisbon Airport (LPPT). During the start-up of the number two engine, a small fuel leak was detected.

Following the discovery of the leak, the flight crew aborted the departure sequence and returned the aircraft to the stand to address the technical anomaly.
