On June 30, 2018, an Aeroprakt-22L2 operated by OOO "Aeroprom" was conducting aerial forestry work. The flight originated from the village of Motygino, traveling toward a temporary landing site at Dolgy Most in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. The flight plan had been approved by the Novosibirsk Air Traffic Control Center prior to departure.
Before the flight, the aircraft's takeoff weight was approximately 495 kg, which met the maximum takeoff and landing weight limits specified in the aircraft flight manual. The center of gravity was recorded at 26% MAC, falling within the approved range of 22.9% to 28.2% MAC. The pilot-in-command had obtained weather information from the company flight dispatcher via meteocenter.asia.ru prior to departure.
During the approach phase, the pilot-in-command lost visual contact with ground references. This loss of visual reference led to a hard landing on the nose gear of the RA-0323A. The impact caused the nose gear to collapse, resulting in the aircraft striking the ground.
There were no injuries or fatalities reported in the incident. The aircraft was operating under a flight plan that did not preclude the mission based on the weather information provided.
