What happened
On June 9, 2013, at the Shevlino landing site, the pilot was engaged in flight preparations and maintenance for two different aircraft. Earlier that morning, around 06:00, the pilot had completed a training flight in an Ikarus SA-42 RA-0033A. Following this, the pilot performed technical maintenance on an AI-10 Ikar RA-0489G, which included refueling the aircraft to its full capacity.
At approximately 11:00, the pilot notified the dispatcher of his intention to perform pattern flights according to a personal plan. After completing two initial circuits under simple meteorological conditions, the aircraft returned to the parking area. During this brief stop, a passenger boarded the aircraft at their own request.
Following the second stop, the aircraft taxied back to the runway and took off from the unpaved runway with a magnetic heading of 196 degrees. An eyewitness, the head of the landing site, observed that the initial takeoff and climb were normal. However, while executing the first turn at an altitude of approximately 100 meters, the aircraft developed an increased right bank and a sudden nose drop.
