On October 22, 2024, an ANSAT helicopter, registration RA-20101, was involved in an incident approximately 2 km northeast of Malaya Ovsyanka, in the Semenovsky Municipal District of Russia. The aircraft was operated by Joint-Stock Company "National Sanitary Aviation Service" as part of a state contract to provide medical assistance and transport patients and medical personnel.
The aircraft was based at the Nizhny Novgorod Regional Clinical Hospital. During the period of operation, the flight crew consisted of a captain and a second pilot. The aircraft's maintenance and pre-flight preparations were managed by a technician who reported readiness to the captain daily.
Investigation findings indicate that the incident involved the detachment of two fittings on a tail rotor blade. The investigation noted that this event followed a similar incident that occurred on May 20, 2023.
There were no injuries or fatalities reported in relation to this event.
