On August 4, 2020, a Poisk-06P delta-wing aircraft, registered as RA-1711G, was operating in the Moscow region for search and rescue operations. The aircraft had been relocated from Turovo airfield to Aerograd Mozhaisk airfield to assist in searching for missing persons in the forests of the Mozhaisk district.
Following search flights on August 3 and August 4, the pilot reported that the return flight to Turovo would be delayed until the following morning due to increased daytime turbulence. During the period spent at the Aerograd Mozhaisk airfield, the pilot had been staying at a guest house with acquaintances.
At approximately 13:30 on August 4, 2020, the pilot took off without authorization from PSO-21 management, carrying an acquaintance as a passenger. During the flight, the aircraft collided with a tree.
The accident resulted in two fatalities. The flight was being conducted in Class G airspace.
