On June 16, 2023, an SP-30V micro-aircraft with registration RA-0264G was conducting agricultural land treatment flights near the settlement of Medveditsa. The pilot had previously transported the aircraft to the location via trailer and performed a test flight on June 15, 2023, to verify system readiness.
Prior to the accident, the pilot performed pre-flight maintenance, including checks of the engine and aircraft systems. At 03:53, the pilot flew from the parking area on the southeastern outskirts of Medveditsa to a loading area located approximately three kilometers east of the settlement.
During the flight, the aircraft exceeded the maximum allowable bank angle while performing a turn to enter the trajectory for the next leg of the mission. This maneuver led to a loss of altitude and a subsequent impact with the ground.
The investigation noted that the turn was performed at an altitude of less than 50 meters above obstacles, which was below the requirements specified in the Flight Manual and FAP-128. Additionally, the aircraft's aerodynamic performance was degraded due to the aircraft exceeding the weight limits established in the Flight Manual.
