On May 23, 2025, an SP-37M aircraft, registration RA-1461G, was conducting agricultural spraying operations in the Orlovsky district of the Rostov region. The pilot had completed nine successful flights earlier that morning, starting at 05:05, with no reported issues regarding the aircraft or engine performance.
Following a period of refueling with fuel and chemicals at 08:35, the pilot initiated another takeoff. While flying at an altitude of approximately 70 to 80 meters, roughly 3 km from the landing area near the village of Rebrychansky, the pilot experienced increased engine vibration.
During the flight, the aircraft collided with airborne obstacles, including trees and power lines, and subsequently struck the ground. No injuries were reported following the incident.
Pre-flight preparations on the day of the event showed no mechanical issues, and the pilot had reviewed the weather forecast online prior to departure. The flight was conducted in class G airspace under visual meteorological conditions.
