On September 26, 2024, a TRN-01 VTOL helicopter, registration RA-174EP, was involved in an aviation incident in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug – Yugra region, near the settlement of Sibirsky. The aircraft was operating under a service agreement between LLC "Gazpromneft-Supply" and LLC "Aeromax" for the purpose of transporting goods using unmanned aerial vehicles.
The flight was being conducted in automatic mode. The mission profile involved a route from point "Priчал" to point "Грузовая". The crew assigned to the operation included external pilots and engineering specialists.
During the flight, the aircraft experienced an engine failure. There were no injuries or fatalities reported as a result of this incident.
Prior to the mission, the crew had undergone preliminary training at the LLC "Aeromax" base in Moscow on August 21, 2024. The flight task for the mission had been approved by the general director of the operator.
