What happened
On December 26, 2012, a safety occurrence took place at Kittilä Airport in Finland. The aircraft involved was a Boeing 737-800, registration LN-BYM, operated by Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA as flight NAX5630.
The investigation
The investigation was led by the Norwegian Safety Investigation Authority (Statens Havarikommisjon for Transport). In accordance with international regulations under ICAO Annex 13, the Finnish Safety Investigation Authority (OTKES) appointed an authorized representative to assist in the proceedings. The final report regarding the incident was published in March 2015.
