What happened
On the approach to Durango Airport, a twin-engine aircraft traveling from Celaya experienced an uncontrolled descent. The aircraft impacted an open field situated approximately 16 km northwest of Durango Intl Airport, in the vicinity of the village of Ceballos.
Following the impact, the wreckage was discovered in a burned state near the Peña del Aguila Dam. The accident resulted in two fatalities, as both occupants on board the aircraft were killed during the event.
