The aircraft, operated by Corendon Airlines on a scheduled commercial flight from Zurich to Antalya, was in the process of taxiing when it struck a ground vehicle.

The investigation

The Swiss Transportation Safety Investigation Board (SUST) examined the circumstances surrounding the movement of the aircraft and the positioning of ground equipment. The investigation focused on the interaction between the aircraft and a Goldhofer AST-2R 210 tug, which was being operated by Swissport International Ltd at the time of the incident.
