What happened
During the takeoff roll on runway 27, the pilot reached the intended rotation speed but observed that the aircraft failed to lift off the ground. In response to this lack of lift, the pilot initiated an aborted takeoff procedure. During the braking phase, the aircraft failed to remain within the runway boundaries and veered off the left side of the pavement near the runway's end.
The aircraft subsequently breached the perimeter fencing surrounding the airfield and came to a final stop within a wooded area. Although the aircraft sustained heavy damage, including the loss of both wings, there were no injuries among the ten occupants on board.
Findings
- The aircraft was unable to achieve flight following the pilot's decision to rotate.
- The failure of the aircraft to lift off led to the decision to terminate the takeoff sequence.
- The excursion resulted in the aircraft exiting the airfield boundaries and colliding with trees.
