What happened
On December 11, 2008, at 22:53 UTC, an Embraer EMB145, registration OH-EBE, was taxiing at Kemi-Tornio Airport in Kemi, Finland. The aircraft, operated by Finnish Commuter Airlines Oy, had recently landed when the Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) caught fire.
The incident resulted in minor damage to the aircraft's tailcone. There were no injuries reported among the 2 pilots, 1 cabin crew member, or the 22 passengers on board.
