The Unfalluntersuchungsstelle - Luftfahrt Accident Investigation Branch of Austria notified the NTSB of an accident involving a Boeing 777-200, registration OE-LPB, which took place on September 12, 2011, in Montauk, Austria.
Under the provisions of ICAO Annex 13, the NTSB appointed a U.S. Accredited Representative to assist the investigation in its capacity as the State of Manufacturer and Design of the aircraft. All investigative information regarding the event will be released by the Government of Austria.
