What happened
On September 17, 2011, at approximately 2135 UTC, a Gates Learjet 35, registration N535LC, was involved in an accident during landing at Arturo Michelena Airport (SVVA) in Valencia, Carabobo, Venezuela. The aircraft had departed from Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport (FXE) in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, for a personal flight.
During the landing phase, the aircraft sustained substantial damage. There were seven people on board, including two pilots and five passengers; all occupants were not injured.
