What happened
On August 25, 2016, at approximately 1903 UTC, a Learjet 55, registration N666TK, was involved in a runway excursion at North Eleuthera Airport in Eleuthera, Bahamas. The aircraft, operated by RCR7 LLC, was performing a takeoff attempt when the crew initiated an aborted takeoff.
Following the aborted takeoff, the aircraft exited the runway, resulting in substantial damage to the plane. All nine people on board, consisting of two pilots and seven passengers, were not injured.
At the time of the accident, weather conditions were reported as Visual Meteorological Conditions (VMC) with winds from 040 degrees at 08 knots.
