What happened
On April 11, 2017, at approximately 0830 UTC, a Gulfstream Aerospace GIV-X (G450), operating under United States registration N667HS, experienced a landing gear failure at Salzburg Airport (LOWS) in Salzburg, Austria.
The aircraft had departed from Salzburg Airport with the intention of traveling to Bangor International Airport (KBGR) in Maine, USA. Upon landing at LOWS, the nose landing gear collapsed, resulting in substantial damage to the aircraft. There were no injuries reported among the two pilots and two passengers on board.
