On October 3, 2025, an Antonov An-2, registration RA-70350, was involved in a fatal accident in the area of the Tanzbey settlement within the Krasnoyarsk Territory. The aircraft was operated by LLC Borus Airline under a charter agreement with LLC SpetsAvia to perform forest protection duties. Following the completion of seasonal work, the crew was tasked with relocating the aircraft from the Verkhneusinskoye landing site to the Shushenskoye airfield.
Prior to the accident, the crew and an aircraft maintenance specialist had delayed the flight on October 1 and October 2 due to weather conditions that did not meet flight requirements. On the morning of October 3, the crew met at Shushenskoye airfield and traveled to the Verkhneusinskoye landing site by car. The aircraft was prepared for takeoff with 800 liters of fuel and a cargo load of approximately 100 kg, consisting of a heater and a ladder.
During the flight, the aircraft encountered weather conditions that did not comply with flight regulations. The aircraft commander lost visual contact with ground references while flying through mountainous terrain. This loss of visual reference led to a collision with the ground and obstacles. The accident resulted in two fatalities.
