On May 27, 2018, an SP-30V micro-airplane, registration RA-0264G, was involved in a fatal aviation incident near the settlement of Dudachensky, in the Frolovsky district of the Volgograd region. The aircraft was operated by OOO "Technoservice".
Prior to the flight, the pilot arrived at the KFH base on May 25, 2018, to prepare for operations. On the day of the accident, the pilot performed pre-flight tasks including checking oil levels and draining fuel sediment. The pilot obtained meteorological information via the internet and did not file an ICAO flight plan with air traffic control authorities.
The accident occurred during a flight maneuver involving a bank angle of 45-50 degrees. This exceeded the 28-degree bank angle limit specified in the aircraft's flight manual, leading the aircraft into a stall and a subsequent collision with the ground.
There was one fatality reported in relation to this event. The pilot had not undergone a formal medical examination, though regulations allowed the pilot in command to authorize flight in the absence of a medical professional at the airfield.
