What happened
On July 26, a single-engine aircraft departed from Bima Airstrip as part of an international flight event traveling from Berlin to Sydney, Australia. At the time of the incident, the flight was progressing through a long-distance itinerary that had already included 40 intermediate stops. Shortly after departing Bima, the crew experienced mechanical difficulties related to the engine. In response to these engine problems, the crew decided to execute an emergency landing. The aircraft subsequently crash landed in the vicinity of Bayan, Lombok.
