What happened
During a scheduled agricultural spraying operation in the vicinity of Jászjákóhalma, the aircraft experienced a sudden loss of power. While the crew was performing their mission, the engine ceased functioning mid-flight, necessitating an immediate attempt at an emergency descent.
In the process of attempting to land the aircraft safely, the plane struck several trees before coming to a rest on the ground. The impact resulted in a crash that left two occupants with injuries.
Findings
Investigations into the accident focused on the mechanical state of the propulsion system at the time of the incident. The primary factor identified was an engine failure occurring during the flight phase, though the specific underlying reason for the loss of power remains undetermined.
