What happened
On December 1, 1981, a charter flight operated by Inex-Adria Aviopromet was transporting tourists from Yugoslavia to Corsica. The aircraft involved was a McDonnell Douglas MD-82. During the final phase of the journey, while approaching its destination, the plane deviated from its intended path and collided with Mont San Petru. The impact resulted in the total destruction of the aircraft.
