Incident Details
A C-140 aircraft experienced an engine stoppage while in cruise flight. The pilot subsequently conducted a forced landing. During the landing, the aircraft collided with a ditch and nosed over.

The pilot reported that he had checked the carburetor heat system on the ground prior to the flight but did not apply carburetor heat during the flight.
