Accident Description
The aircraft touched down on the runway and subsequently ground looped to the right. During the ground loop, the landing gear collapsed, and the aircraft settled onto its left wing. The left wing failed at the strut attach points.
According to the report, the aircraft approached with the left wing low to compensate for a crosswind. However, upon landing, the left wing rose. As the aircraft ground looped to the right, the landing gear folded underneath.
Damage
The damage consisted of a broken left wheel hub, a broken gear strut, a ruptured cockpit floor, and broken spars of the left wing. The left wing separated at the strut attachment points.
