What happened
The pilot initiated a takeoff roll on a 1900-foot grass runway configured with two notches of flaps. Shortly after lift-off, the aircraft climbed to an altitude between 50 and 75 feet. At this point, the pilot expressed uncertainty regarding the ability to clear the tree line at the end of the runway. Consequently, the decision was made to abort the takeoff. The aircraft was unable to stop within the remaining length of the runway. After overrunning the paved surface, the plane collided with several trees.
