Accident Description

An aircraft was observed making a low pass over the end of a runway. The pilot then performed a pull-up combined with a roll and/or vertical maneuver. During the downward portion of the maneuver, one witness stated that the aircraft appeared to stall or shudder. The aircraft did not recover and impacted the ground in a nose-down attitude. Engine sounds indicated that the engine was producing full power at the time of the accident.

Witness Observations

Witnesses reported seeing the aircraft perform a roll immediately after takeoff on the same flight. The low pass and subsequent maneuver were also observed. One witness specifically noted that on the downward side of the maneuver, the aircraft seemed to experience a stall or shudder before impact.
