An aircraft collided with a house after performing a go-around following an initial touchdown on a grass strip.

What happened

Witnesses observed the aircraft entering a left downwind for runway 02. The airplane touched down at midfield, bounced, and subsequently rolled approximately 100 feet. As the aircraft reached about three-quarters of the way down the runway, an increase in engine power was heard. The aircraft then lifted off and climbed to an altitude of approximately 60 feet above ground level before entering a steep left turn. During this maneuver, the airplane disappeared from view and collided with a house.

According to statements provided by the pilot to first responders, the pilot had previously landed long on a grass strip and made the decision to perform a go-around.
