What happened
On January 21, 2010, a Boeing 747-400F, operating under Cargolux Airlines International S A with registration LX-OCV, struck the top of a maintenance van on the runway at Luxembourg-Findel International Airport (LU) in Luxembourg. The incident occurred during CAT IIIB weather conditions.
The aircraft landed safely despite sustaining minor damage. The maintenance van sustained severe damage. There were no injuries reported for the three crew members on the aircraft or the two maintenance technicians present on the runway.
