Trigana Air (registered as Trigana Air Service) is an airline based in Jakarta, Indonesia.
History
The airline commenced operations in early 1991 with two Beechcraft King Air 200 aircraft and later added two Bell 412SP helicopters. In 2007, the European Union imposed a ban on all Indonesian airlines, including Trigana Air, from flying into its airspace; the ban was lifted in 2018. In March 2021, the company announced a partnership with J&T Express, which would use some of Trigana Air's aircraft for its operations.

Accidents and Incidents
Trigana Air has been involved in 14 serious incidents, 10 of which resulted in hull loss.
- On 21 April 2002, an Antonov An-72 registered ES-NOP caught fire in the front compartment while landing at Wamena Airport. The aircraft carried four crew members; all evacuated safely.
- On 25 May 2002, a de Havilland Canada DHC-6 Twin Otter registered PK-YPZ crashed in heavy rain while carrying supplies. All four passengers and both crew members died.
- On 11 February 2010, Trigana Air Flight 162, an ATR 42-300 registered PK-YRP, force-landed in a paddy field near Balikpapan after both engines failed in flight. All 52 passengers and crew survived.
- On 8 April 2012, a DHC-6 Twin Otter was fired upon while landing at Mulia Airport. The pilots were injured, leading to loss of control, and the aircraft struck an airport building. One of the eight occupants was killed and four were injured.
- On 16 August 2015, Trigana Air Flight 267, an ATR 42-300 registered PK-YRN, lost contact after takeoff from Sentani Airport en route to Oksibil. Wreckage was found in the Bintang highlands. All 49 passengers and five crew members died. The NTSC report attributed the cause to pilot error and the failure of the ground proximity warning system.
- On 13 September 2016, Trigana Air Flight 7321, a Boeing 737-300 registered PK-YSY, made a hard landing on runway 15 at Wamena Airport, breaking both main landing gears. The aircraft slid to a stop on the runway. No injuries occurred.
- On 20 March 2021, a Boeing 737-400 registered PK-YSF had a landing gear issue while departing from Halim Perdanakusuma.
