What happened

On September 13, 2012, a Boeing 737 operated by Royal Air Maroc landed on runway 33L at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. During the taxi phase following the landing, the aircraft experienced a failure of the left nosewheel.

The pilot reported difficulty with steering and requested ground support. The aircraft CN-ROP came to a stop at taxiway P. Upon inspection, it was discovered that the left nose landing gear wheel was missing and the right tire had burst. There were no injuries to the passengers, who were deplaned from the aircraft.
