The NTSC of Indonesia has notified the NTSB about a B737-300 accident on April 7, 2013. The NTSB has appointed a U.S. Accredited Representative to assist under ICAO Annex 13.

On April 7, 2013, an accident involving a Boeing 737-300 aircraft occurred. The National Transportation Safety Committee (NTSC) of Indonesia, headquartered at the Ministry of Transportation Building, 3rd Floor, Jl. Medan Merdeka Timur No. 5, Jakarta, Indonesia, has notified the United States National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) of this accident. As the State of Manufacturer and Design of the airplane, the United States is entitled to participate in the investigation under the provisions of ICAO Annex 13. Consequently, the NTSB has appointed a U.S. Accredited Representative to assist the NTSC investigation. The NTSC is the lead investigating authority and will release all investigative information and findings. The appointed U.S. Accredited Representative will assist the NTSC investigation.
