What happened
Following the event, the Indonesian National Transportation Safety Committee (NTSC) notified the NTSB of the accident. Under the provisions of ICAO Annex 13, the NTSB appointed a U.S. Accredited Representative to assist the NTSC investigation in its capacity as the State of Manufacturer and Design of the aircraft.
