Notification

The Indonesian National Transportation Safety Committee (NTSC) has notified the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) of an accident involving a Boeing 737-900 that occurred on February 1, 2014. This notification initiates international cooperation under the framework of ICAO Annex 13.

Appointment

In response, the NTSB has appointed a U.S. Accredited Representative to assist the NTSC investigation. The appointment is made under the provisions of ICAO Annex 13, as the NTSB serves as the State of Manufacturer and Design of the Boeing 737-900.
