Incident Overview
During approach to a 50-foot-wide runway, the pilot of an airplane with a 54.5-foot wingspan maintained a left wing low attitude to compensate for a crosswind from the left. While correcting towards the centerline, the right wing collided with a bush located off the right side of the runway, causing substantial damage to the right aileron.
