Incident Details
On February 26, 2017, at approximately 0314 Coordinated Universal Time, a Cessna 152, registration B-HHN, experienced a reported loss of engine power. The pilot initiated a forced landing, during which the aircraft collided with trees and came to rest among them. The airplane sustained substantial damage. No individuals on board sustained reportable injuries.

The aircraft, a Cessna 152, was registered as B-HHN. The flight was operated by Hong Kong Aviation Club Limited under the pertinent civil regulations of Hong Kong.
Investigation
The Accident Investigation Division of the Civil Aviation Department of Hong Kong SAR is conducting the investigation. Under the provisions of ICAO Annex 13, the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) of the United States has designated a U.S. Accredited Representative to assist in the investigation, as the United States is the state of manufacture for the aircraft.
