What happened

On July 21, 2025, at approximately 18:56 CDT, a Ravin 500, registration C-GPDZ, was involved in an accident at Oshkosh, Wisconsin. The aircraft was being operated as a personal flight under 14 CFR Part 91.

According to the pilot, the aircraft landed on runway 9. While the airplane was decelerating on the runway, the left main landing gear collapsed. This collapse caused the left wing and the left horizontal stabilizer to strike the ground. The aircraft eventually came to rest on the north side of runway 9. There were no injuries to the pilot or the passenger.
