What happened
During a night cargo operation, an aircraft traveling from Dakar to Athens via Agadir and Algiers struck terrain in Morocco. The flight was transporting a shipment of fish and was operated by a crew of eight. While flying at an altitude of 9,900 feet, the plane encountered marginal weather conditions. During the cruise phase of the flight, the aircraft impacted a mountain slope situated approximately 80 km northeast of Agadir.
