What happened
During the takeoff roll from runway 32 at Buckingham Airport, a twin-engine airplane experienced a loss of directional control. As the aircraft proceeded down the runway, it veered toward the left side of the pavement.
As a result of the excursion, the aircraft sustained significant structural damage, specifically the loss of the nose gear and the left main landing gear. The aircraft eventually came to a halt after departing the prepared surface. There were zero fatalities and zero injuries reported, as both members of the crew were able to evacuate the aircraft safely following the incident.
Findings
No specific technical cause for the loss of control was identified in the initial report, though the sequence of events indicates the departure from the runway occurred during the takeoff phase.
